One can only speculate in what fashion this piece would have been worn, at first glance you might think it's broken, when viewed using a loupe or microscope it's easy to see that it was manufactured just as you see it, the bottom edge has been obviously smoothed rather than broken, all the colors of the rainbow, picture does no justice to how nice this piece is

Not the largest, but easily the fines hook I've handled in quite some time, the bone is not pitted, the tip is sharp enough to drag in a fat red belly even today, it also has the distinction of being found in an area that I don't know of any others coming from, which is the Suwannee river basin, hooks are predominantly found near the Steinhatchee river along with a few from the Rainbow, Ecofina and Gopher rivers, forgive me if I'm leaving out any
